Students return back to school on Monday 6th January 2014 WEEK B
This web site seeks to introduce you to Manningtree High School, outline some of the many opportunities it offers and to demonstrate our aim to provide a quality education for every child.
"Students make good progress when GCSE subjects only are considered" OFSTED June 2013
We believe that GCSEs are the best qualification for our students - they provide the most effective platform for post 16 success - we know this as every Year 11 student who left in 2013 had a place on a course.
Our students are remarkable young people. We want them to have energy and enthusiasm for all that life has to offer; to live as responsible citizens and to succeed academically in our rapidly changing society. We wish to develop their unique talents and aspirations, and give them our support, attention and guidance in every endeavor.
The purpose of our school is to offer students the opportunity to reach their full potential. We wish to ensure that all children at the school achieve the highest possible standards, whether it be in the classroom, or in the extensive range of opportunities we offer to students at all stages of their education.
Many of you will be aware that the first week of December is Charities Week! ‘Charities Week’ is unique to Manningtree and highlights the community...
